Dear Potential New Members,
Hello and welcome to UVa! My name is Mackenzie Archer and I'm the Vice President of Membership for the Beta Sigma Chapter of Delta Delta Delta. If you are looking for women who will support you in making your time at UVa successful and meaningful, then I strongly encourage you to rush Tri Delta in the spring of 2018.
Being a Tri Delta at UVa means excelling academically as well as being passionate about outside involvements on grounds. As Tri Delta’s, we strive to uphold the purpose upon which our sorority was founded: to establish a perpetual bond of friendship among its members, to develop a stronger and more womanly character, to broaden the moral and intellectual life, and to assist its members in every possible way. You will find Tri Delta’s around grounds involved in a variety of organizations across grounds, including the University Guide Service, Madison House, Student Council, Camp Kesem, and range a capella groups, to name a few. We take immense pride in our member’s accomplishments, many of who have been recognized with honors including Dean's List, Intermediate Honors, Jefferson Scholar, Order of Omega, and the I.M.P. Society.
Our Tri Delta chapter proudly supports St. Jude's Children's Hospital. We sponsor events such as Delta Dogs, Sincerely Yours, and a silent auction to raise money for our inspiring philanthropy partner.
When I joined Tri Delta, not only was I introduced to women that would soon become my closest friends, but I also was given the opportunity to build upon my leadership skills, creating a solid foundation for my future endeavors. I am proud to be a part of such a powerful Greek Women’s Organization. I sincerely look forward to meeting you all in the spring and to sharing more about my passion for Tri Delta.
